A newly-published paper provides more evidence for the biodiversity benefits of organic farming using a meta-analysis of 94 studies

The paper Land-use intensity and the effects of organic farming on biodiversity: a hierarchical meta-analysis, published in the Journal of Applied Ecology, showed that on average, organic farming increased species richness by about 30%. This effect was greater in more intensively farmed regions.
